Captain Jack was born in Lawrence Massachusetts and raised in South Florida. He has been fishing the waters of South Florida since his childhood. Captain Jack is completely fluent in both English and Spanish. His love and passion for the sport of fishing inspired him to pursue a career in sport fishing. Captain Jack is eager to share his knowledge and excitement with anglers of all ages and level of expertise.

As a professional fishing guide Captain Jack has over 25 years of experience taking customers fishing the waters of Biscayne Bay. He is Cost Guard Certified. Captain Jack specializes in light tackle fishing for Tarpon, Snook, Permit, Bonefish, Trout, Shark and other eating fish. On every trip Captain Jack’s objective is for his customer to catch the SUPER GRAND SLAM which consists of Tarpon, Permit, Bonefish and Snook.

There are many details that establish Captain Jack as one of the premier fishing guides of South Florida. One being his over the top pure will to be prepared and go the extra mile for his customers. Captain Jack ensures he has live shrimp and live blue crabs for his fishing trips. When mullet is running Captain Jack will spend the extra time prior to a trip netting mullet or catching pin fish all in an effort to ensure his customers get the ultimate fishing experience. In addition your rod will be equipped with custom jigs made by Captain Jack.

As a believer in conservation for future generations to enjoy the sport of fishing Captain Jack practices catch and release of all game fish. No fish is ever gaffed most are netted. Keeping true to his catch and release principals Captain Jack will only keep the fish the customer would like to have all others will be released. You will always be able to cherish the moments of your trophy catch through pictures and mounting.

From the moment Captain Jack leaves the docks to the moment he returns his goal on every fishing trip is ensure the customer has every opportunity to connect with a trophy fish. His purpose is to provide his customers with an experience and memories to last a lifetime.

Captain Jack's Boat / Equipment

BOAT:Our fishing trip will be on a Maverick black and white 22 foot Pathfinder. This boat floats shallow and extremely quiet giving us the best opportunity to hook Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit, Snook, Trout, Snapper, Grouper, Sharks, Barracuda and any game and eating fish.

The boat is equipped with a 200 Yamaha motor, two 30 gallons live-wells. The boat is equipped with a state of the art electric motor. In addition the boat has a GPS for guide and mark fishing wrecks.



EQUIPMENT:Captain Jack will provide you with only the best equipment to enhance your fishing experience. You will be provided with custom rods from Biscayne Rods which are locally made and considered among the best fishing rods. Each rod is customized for specific species and made from graphite providing maximum fishing fight power. All rods are lined with fluorocarbon leader which provides best results in sport fishing.

In addition you will be using only the best brand name reels such as Daiwa, Penn and Shimano providing a total customized package.

RatesCancellations are made by the Captain and are weather/safety contingent. If there is a need to cancel your trip, you will be able to reschedule with Gone Fishing Charters at a later date of your convenience.A deposit of $100 is required. The deposit can be paid by check and your fishing trip will be blocked once the check has cleared.
